Curriculum

Blossoming Angels United School is recognised by Department of Education, Govt. Of West Bengal and follow CBSE curriculum. Assessment is a continuous monitoring of student's progress in fearless and supportive environment. It evaluates the student's ability to observe, converse confidently, complete projects with research and comprehension, writing essays, participate in elocution, question the accepted concepts and test the relevance of concepts using lateral thinking skills, projects, quizzes, tasks, elocution, debate and other individual and group activities are given to assess the co-scholastic areas. This will be used effectively as it would improve tremendously, raising the self-esteem of the child.

To include regularity, seriousness and systematic study habits, continuous comprehensive evaluation records are beingmaintained by the teachers as an yardstick to measure the performance of the students at every stage for the purpose of their continuous improvement. Fine arts, needle work, storytelling, sloka recitation and computer education form an integral part of the junior class curriculum with work experience, social service, environmental projects, robotics, music, dramatics and field trips enhance the senior class curriculum. Sports are given importance to enhance their physical potentiality.

Age appropriate and customized lessons are included in the curriculum in accordance with the guidelines provided by CBSE as per N.E.P 2020.

Play Group ( Pre-Nursery & Nursery ) -Special emphasis is given by our dedicated teachers on play –way method of learning wherein children are introduced to numerous activities that enhance and improve Motor Skills , Cognitive skills , self-dependence , critical thinking, sociability ,alphanumeric literacy and love for learning .

Preparatory or Foundational Stage-1 (K.G) - Our little Angels are introduced to phonics (grouping words according to sounds of CVC) , number chronology (sequence of numbers, ascending ,descending order, number names , patterns ) cursive writing , digital learning and various activities that improve observation, retention and boost skills like problem solving ability etc.

Foundational Stage -2 (Class I & II) – Emphasis is laid upon developing language, comprehensibility, basic arithmetic , communication skills along with life skills through various classroom activities and digital learning .

Classes III to VIII (Primary and Mid- Level Foundation) – Primary section students are introduced to fundamentals of Elementary Learning (The 3 R’s, Vocabulary Enhancement, Arithmetic and Reasoning), activities that boost observation, higher thinking order skills and STEM Learning.

Mid – Level (Classes V to VIII) are exposed to practical and more of experiential learning that help teachers to identify students’ knack /area of interest and accordingly guide them for strengthening those aspects further.
